About Me
I’m Jason McGouirk, founder of Next Level IT Ops, bringing over 20 years of experience leading high-performing teams and shaping IT strategy across government, defense, and enterprise environments. My career includes senior leadership roles with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), where I managed mission-critical IT operations, cybersecurity programs, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
I specialize in building and leading teams, defining IT strategy, and driving digital transformation that delivers measurable results. From developing cloud adoption roadmaps to implementing automation and Site Reliability Engineering practices, I’ve helped organizations move from reactive to proactive IT models—improving uptime, reducing risk, and aligning technology to business goals.
